Made
especially for the special Bi-Centenary anniversary
L1A1 Rifle in 1988. These magazines differ from the
earlier military contract sectionalised rifle
magazines. The dimensions of the cuts are different
and the overall quality of the product would have to
be considered as sub-par |

Based
on the Canadian C2 30 round Magazine, these magazines
were made at Lithgow Small Arms Factory. Early
magazines had some Canadian components till Lithgow
could produce their own. The follower, spring,
retainer plate are different to the standard L2A1 20
round magazine |

Notes:
|
These
30 round Bren Gun magazines seem to of only been made
in 1973 and 1974, why Lithgow produced these copies of
the standard British L4A1 magazines when they already
had the 30 round magazine for the L2A1 automatic rifle
is a bit of a mystery. If anyone has the answer,
please let me know |
