FN FAL R1 Ammunition Bandolier
This bandolier dates from 1956 and has been found filled with 7.62 mm ammunition.  The stripper clips are unmarked and are the same type that can be seen on the
Belgium Stripper Clip page.

Markings: EXPRESS AG 1956 (on very end of pocket area - the 'Express' is badly stamped so may not be correct) and LOT74 (on one pocket).
Colour:
Purple.

Another example has come to light, this time in the UK.  The markings are LOT 2 1 1960 and the maker is EXPRESS A G. 1956

Material: Cotton.
Colour: Khaki.

Fasteners: Brass tab (1/8" wide which goes through hole in flap and bends down).
Markings: None.
Strap connection: One piece (doubled over and sewn), attached/sewn both ends.

Sizes:-
Pocket area:
100 mm x 463 mm.
Length of shoulder strap: 925mm.

No. of Pockets: 5.
